Slow Food & New Romanian Cuisine

Cooking classes with Terra Carpatica means New Romanian Cuisine – a combination of old (forgotten) food traditions, premium products from the Carpathian garden and a preparation with an international touch – a culinary experience far beyond your expectations about Romanian cuisine. We support the Slow Food concept: fresh and seasonal food, eco-friendly food production and a chance for small-scale producers to market their products at fair prices.  The products we use for a cooking class come from surrounding orchards or forests and small (organic) farmers.

How it works

Our cooking classes are team cookings where each participant is implied. You choose your favourite cooking theme and our local chefs tell you the story behind the ingredients and the menu.  But it´s not just  a simple lesson: Romanian food means inspiration, creativity and fun for all the participants.
A New Romanian Cuisine Cooking Class  is perfect for a group of friends, for corporates and  team buildings and culinary tourists that want to discover the different side of Romania. The courses and workshops can be combined with wine tasting, blind wine tasting, wine-pairing, fruit picking, grape harvest, truffle hunting or any other culinary adventure.
The ideal group size  is between 8 and 15 persons, but also smaller groups or VIP classes are possible. Larger groups we split up in teams (i.e. for team cooking competitions).
